ABOUT TONY AUTH
After 40 years as editorial cartoonist at The Philadelphia Inquirer, where he garnered more than his share of both awards and hate mail, Tony Auth decided that the time had come to broaden the range of his commentary. There is, after all, so much more to life than politics.
What he needed was a new venue. What he found was WHYY, and NewsWorks, where he is now its first Digital Artist in Residence.
Nearly two centuries after Pennsylvania lost its copy of the Bill of Rights, the state will display a copy of the founding document for the first time.
