Live training exercise in Bethany

Sounds of explosions expected near Bethany Beach Wednesday and Thursday. The State Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team will hold a High Energy Dynamic Entry Training event at the National Guard Training Facility in Bethany Beach. The training sessions will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. State Police warn nearby residents of the potential for loud noises, but say the exercise doesn't pose any danger to the public or surrounding property.
