Quillen honored in Dover

Governor Markell will present the Governor's Heritage Award to former Delaware judge William T. Quillen.   Citing his distinguished contributions to the recognition, preservation and celebration of Delaware's heritage, Markell will honor Quillen today in Dover.  Quillen has served as Delaware Secretary of State, as a judge in Superior Court, a chancellor in Chancery Court, and a justice on the Delaware Supreme Court.  He's authored a number of articles on corporate law and the history of Delaware's courts.  He has also served as director of the University of Delaware Library Associates, Inc.
