Crash sends Delaware students to the hospital

A 15-year-old girl was trapped inside an SUV following an accident on Lancaster Pike around 7:20 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Members of the Hockessin Fire Company were able to free the girl from the vehicle after about 20 minutes. She was taken to Christiana Hospital in serious condition. Three others were also taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

State Police are investigating.
