Germantown resident returns home, finds teenage burglar in ransacked room [video]
Philadelphia Police are looking for a teenaged burglar who allegedly entered a house on the 200 block of W. Tulpehocken St. in Germantown when it was empty Wednesday, only to be discovered when the resident returned home around 1 p.m.
According to police, the 27-year-old woman reported that she "found an unknown female on the second floor and her bedroom in disarray. The unknown female then fled taking two gold rings, one sterling silver ring, one white gold ring and assorted clothing."
The suspect is described as being between the ages of 15 and 18. She was wearing a yellow shirt, black shorts and black and pink sneakers with pink laces at the time of the burglary, according to police, who released surveillance video on Thursday.
