Have you ever thought, "If I ruled the world...?" Well now you can! Join the DCCA as we hand over the reins. In conjunction with the exhibition imPERFECT CITY families will be able to show us what things would look like if they were in charge! Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts, February 17th, 12 P.M.

 

Ina Garten, host of Food Network's Barefoot Contessa, discusses her flavorful life in this delicious evening of conversation with James Beard nominated food writer Patricia Talorico, followed by audience questions, and signing of her best-selling cookbooks. The Grand, February 19th, 8 P.M.

 

The program has a romantic theme, in keeping with Valentine's Day. The orchestra will perform light classical selections, most of them familiar to us from movies. There will be music by Morricone, Piazzolla, Mascagni, and several other selections popularized by film. If you love Strauss waltzes, you will want to hear the DSO play both Blue Danube Waltz and Emperor Waltz. Bring someone you love for a special night out! Calvary Assembly of God, February 16th, 7 P.M.

 

The Library is offering a two day beginning knitting workshop, "Beginning Knitting: A Pathway to Your Creativity" taught by Nan Strange. Participants will learn about basic knitting tools and techniques.Space is limited and registration is required at the Library, either in person or by calling 645-2733. A list of required materials is available at the Circulation Desk. Lewes Public Library, February 15th and 22nd, 1 P.M.
