Actress' diagnosis sheds light on mental illness

The news that Catherine Zeta Jones is seeking treatment for Bipolar Disorder II sheds light on the fact that there are two different types of this disorder. WHYY's Behavioral Health reporter Maiken Scott spoke with Dan Gottlieb about the differences.

Also of interest: Radio Times interviewed Philadelphia jazz saxophonist Odean Pope, who suffers from bipolar disorder, along with University of Pennsylvania psychiatrist Dr. Christos Ballas about what he sees in treating bipolar disorder.
