A recent poll of Pennsylvania voters supports legislation introduced by Bucks County State Rep. Kathy Watson.

Of the 750 registered voters polled, 77 percent support increasing behind-the-wheel training for teen drivers to 65 hours from the current 50.

And 75 percent of those polled are in favor of limiting the number of passengers allowed to ride with teens under 18.

The Patriot-News reports Watson's legislation would increase the required number of training hours for teen drivers, limit the number of passengers for drivers under 18 and make not wearing a seatbelt a primary offense.

Watson's bill will go before the House Transportation Committee today.
