Charting the course of race, religion in early 20th century migration
The early 20th century in America was marked by big demographic shifts and a reassessment of the role of religion by many caught up in the changes.
That’s the focus of Princeton religion professor Judith Weisenfeld’s new book, “New World A-Comin’: Black Religion and Racial Identity During the Great Migration.”
She joined Newsworks Tonight’s Dave Heller to offer some insight on the time period.
