Firefighters stage protest at new firehouse, Church of the Assumption faces demolition

Tom MacDonald and Kim Paynter are in Northeast Philly this morning for the ribbon-cutting of a the new Engine 38 building in Tacony. They're there not only for the event, but for Philadelphia firefighters' protest over continuing contract disputes with the city. Peter Crimmins is working on a story about the Historical Society of Philadelphia, while Emma Jacobs updates us on Philadelphia's Church of the Assumption and the latest hearing about its potential demolition.
