By Neema RoshaniaMeet me at Chestnut Hill Coffee Co. on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to chat about Mt. Airy/Chestnut Hill, learn about becoming a NewsWorks contributor, or to pitch a story idea.
Hi, I'm Neema Roshania, the new Mt. Airy/Chestnut Hill community news editor for NewsWorks.
I'm very excited to be joining the NewsWorks team and am looking forward to becoming a part of the Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill communities. I'm thrilled to be living in Philadelphia for the first time.
I most recently lived in Washington, D.C. for three years, where I was a reporter for Kiplinger. Before that, I worked with NJBIZ and CNBC covering economic trends and small business.
I'm a New Jersey native and a proud Scarlet Knight. While at Rutgers University, I was a correspondent at The Daily Targum, the second-oldest daily college newspaper in the country, and was on the founding team of the university's first world affairs journal.
I'll be holding office hours on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Chestnut Hill Coffee Co. on Germantown Avenue. Feel free to stop by to say hello, talk local issues, learn about becoming a NewsWorks contributor, or simply to chat.
