Woman tied up, valuables stolen during East Falls home invasion
Police are seeking two suspects in a home invasion that took place in East Falls on Thursday, May 15.
Beginning at 12:10 p.m. a green 2004-2007 Nissan Quest was captured circling the complainant's block several times. At 12:18 p.m. two unknown males were seen on a surveillance video walking on the 3500 block of Indian Queen Lane towards Cresson Street.
They then walked to the 3500 block of Bowman Street and continued to walk to the rear of the complainant's home. The suspects then forced entry into the complainant's residence.
The suspects proceeded to pistol whip the complainant, a 24-year-old female, while asking, "where is it?" Also present was the complainant's 2-year-old child.
The complainant was tied up with a wire and a pillow case was place over her head while the house was ransacked by the suspects. The suspects proceeded to take $150, an Xbox 360 game system, an Xbox One game system, a Wii game system and a Samsung Galaxy 4 cellphone.
Both suspects left through the front door and were last seen on the 3500 block of Indian Queen Lane proceeding towards the 3400 block of Conrad Street. It's possible they left the area in a 2004-2007 green Nissan Quest.
The complainant was able to free herself and was left with a swollen left eye and bruises on her neck and chin. The complainant's 2-year-old child was unharmed.
The first suspect is described as a 6'1" to 6'2" stocky, black male between the ages of 28 and 32 with short hair and a full beard. He was wearing a faded baseball cap, a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, a white t-shirt, blue jeans and brown boots.
The second suspect is described a clean-shaven 5'8" to 5'10" black male with a light complexion between the ages of 20 and 26 with short hair. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
