Passover begins Friday at sunset, which means Jewish households are stocked with foods deemed kosher. But history has shown that you don’t necessarily have to keep kosher to enjoy the range of kosher foods available in supermarkets.
NewsWorks Tonight’s Dave Heller spoke with food historian Roger Horowitz about his latest book, “Kosher USA: How Coke Became Kosher and Other Tales of Modern Food,” which follows kosher’s crossover appeal in America.
