One thing you can say about Democratic Congressional candidate Manan Trivedi: He has a sense of humor.

He broke the house up performing stand-up twice at Stu Bykofsky's Candidates Comedy Night. You can get a taste here in my video report on the August event, produced by our videographer, Lindsay Lazarski. Trivedi's the one doing the Indian-American jokes.

For his new ad (above) attacking his opponent, Republican U.S. Rep Jim Gerlach, Trivedi makes fun of everybody's hair, including his own.

For the record, Gerlach disputes Trivedi's charge that he wants to end traditional Medicare. Gerlach says he supports a proposal that would maintain the current plan as an option for future seniors.

Trivedi and Gerlach are battling in Pennsylania's 6th Congressional district in the western suburbs of Philadelphia.
