WARNING: This post contains spoilers.
Season two of PBS hit "Downton Abbey" is drawing to a close. The finale episode, airing Sunday night on WHYY-TV after a marathon run of the entire season, is sure to tie up many loose ends — and start us on a few new cliffhangers.
All the better to whet our appetites for season 3, coming (is it to be believed?) next year.
What do you think is coming next season? Complete this sentence below:
Marital bliss for Anna and Bates has been cut short with him sent off to prison, accused of murdering his wife Vera. Did he do it?
Mary and Matthew seem doomed to a life of misery. But ... does it have to be that way?
Thomas and O'Brien are beginning to wear on each other. Where will their scheming lead them? (Perhaps a gentleman friend for our Thomas?)
Shirley MacLaine has been cast as Cora's American mother, who lives in New York. What can we expect on Yankee shores for Mary if she goes off to stay with Granny to ride out the scandal of her ill-fated liaison with poor Mr. Pamuk?
What new troubles can we expect out Ireland way with Lady Sybil and her revolutionary husband?
And will poor Edith ever find a man?
