What should become of the Germantown High School property?

Built in 1914, the sprawling Germantown High School property fills much of the block bounded by Germantown Avenue and High, Haines and Baynton streets.

Despite continual protests and rallies from locals decrying the potential loss of a community mainstay, prime neighborhood location and history did not help GHS avoid a 4-1 School Reform Commission vote to close GHS on the eve of its centennial.

Among the reasons cited by the district was an inability to afford to maintain underutilized facilities and, with decreased student rolls, some areas of GHS went unused.

In lieu of an unexpected lifeline from the district, NewsWorks would like to know what you think should be done with the property.
