New Jersey's Department of Children and Families and Department of Human Services have six months to create a youth suicide prevention plan. So says the law the Gov. Chris Christie signed Tuesday.

Princeton Patch reports Christie has made bill A-3659 official. The plan will identify, collect and share data throughout the state about suicide attempts and deaths. The Senate approved the plan late last month after two Monmouth County Assembly members introduced it.
