Shoppers took to their holiday tasks earlier than usual this Thanksgiving Weekend. Big box retailers such as Target opened after dinner for eager shoppers

Stacy Burris was among the first in line, she had one target in her sights.

"A 50 inch TV for 349, I'm very excited, I look forward to this all year, it's the best day of the year, better than Christmas."

At the Best Buy in Deptford, N.J., shopper David Zawojski has been out living in a tent since Monday, seeking to fill his shopping list and by his estimate save a thousand dollars.

"I'm getting a big screen X-box laptops, blu-ray players DVD's tons of stuff," he said. "I have a whole list. Times are tough.  You have to penny pinch and this is the best way to do it. It's Christmastime, and you are able to give more to your kids.

Some say this is going to be their new Thanksgiving tradition, instead of the traditional holiday dinner.
