Pa. Gov. Tom Corbett is only halfway through his first term, but competition to run the state in 2014 is already heating up.

Former DEP Secretary John Hanger announced last month he plans to run against Corbett, and now Montgomery County Commissioner Bruce Castor says he might run, too.

Castor, a Republican, told PoliticsPA, "I believe that Governor Corbett is vulnerable.”

Castor went on to criticize Corbett's leadership style, but noted the incumbent still has time to sort things out.

State Treasurer Rob McCord could run against fellow Democrat Hanger in the primary.
