American Idol mic to make Philly Flower Show appearance

The American Idol microphone will makes its way to Philadelphia today in what organizers are likening to the carrying of the Olympic Torch.
A cross-country relay dubbed 'Idol Across America' began on March 1 in New York City. After stopping in Boston on Saturday the mic and its entourage will arrive at the Philadelphia Flower Show at the Pennsylvania Convention Center at around 10:30 a.m. today, Sun., March 3.
The mic will make its way around the show floor before exiting the scene for other city stops including the Museum of Art and Rittenhouse Square.
All in all the mic tour will travel a total of 5,000 miles, hitting a total of 13 cities in as many days.
