Listen to Rob Fix's complete report from his farm.

Rob Fix from Schnecksville, Pa., is concerned about the effect of Hurricane Sandy on his chickens. Fix runs an organic pastured livestock operation.

"This is the first time since they were in the nursery that they are cooped up," he said. "And they're cooped up in their outdoor shelters and it's windy and it's blowing and it's crazy up there on top of the hill and I'm checking on 'em  periodically. Haven't lost any, and I got 612 up there. And these chickens are not meant to see anything like that, so I'm hoping and praying for 'em. And it's all I can do. Hoping I'm not up late night tonight trying to haul them somewhere else."
